Our recent bathroom and closet remodel in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland, WA highlights how a new layout can completely revitalize a home. The original space was defined by a dark, cramped bathroom and a poorly lit walk-in closet with ill-placed sink. Our design team completely re-envisioned the layout, swapping the positions of the bathroom and closet. This strategic change allowed the bathroom to take over the window which we then enlarged flooding the new primary suite with natural light.

Kirkland Bathroom Remodel: Modern Primary Suite in Juanita

Our recent bathroom and closet remodel in the Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland, WA highlights how a new layout can completely revitalize a home. The original space was defined by a dark, cramped bathroom and a poorly lit walk-in closet with ill-placed sink. Our design team completely re-envisioned the layout, swapping the positions of the bathroom and closet. This strategic change allowed the bathroom to take over the window which we then enlarged flooding the new primary suite with natural light.

The design details elevate the space, from the subtle movement of the charcoal 12"x24" tiles laid in a herringbone pattern to the stunning Bedrosians Cloe tile accent wall. Two symmetrical shampoo niches not only provide essential storage but also create a balanced focal point. This remodel blends modern design with a warm, transitional aesthetic, transforming a dated area into a cohesive and luxurious primary bathroom suite. The result is a high-end, functional retreat that brings beauty and comfort to this Kirkland, WA, home.

This modern bathroom now features a functional and elegant like a wet room-style design with a curbless walk-in shower and a floating bench. The natural wood vanity is complemented by sleek black hardware, the plumbing fixtures include premium Brizo Allaria® Luxe gold faucets and advanced Kohler Anthem® shower system. We incorporated West Elm framed inset medicine cabinets to keep the space tidy and used warm globe sconces for ambient lighting.
