This East Sammamish kitchen already had great bones- a functional layout and solid cabinetry and so rather than a full renovation, the focus was on the details that would deliver the greatest visual impact. The dated wood cabinets were refinished in Sherwin Williams Endless Sea, a moody, deeply saturated navy that gave the cabinetry an entirely new presence, complemented by brushed brass hardware for warmth and curated elegance, Stratus Lennox Oro Quartz countertops for subtle movement and sophistication, and a white marble mosaic backsplash with soft geometric patterning that ties every element together. A cooktop upgrade to the island and thoughtfully chosen new lighting completed the transformation, with every finish layered intentionally to create a cohesive, considered, and unmistakably custom space- proof of what thoughtful design and skilled refinishing can achieve without ever picking up a sledgehammer.
